Service rating : Totally poor experience, wouldn't use or recommend. Entice you in with discounts which you can't use. No terms or conditions advising you. Couldn't even get the item as even after receiving confirmation and delivery date item wasn't available.

Thank you for leaving us a review. I apologise for any inconvenience you've experienced lately when ordering with us. We do typically offer discount codes year round for various occasions (birthdays, Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day etc.) which unfortunately cannot be used on items already discounted, this is just due to the way our shop system is formatted.

We appreciate that Christmas can be quite an expensive time of year, so in the spirit of the holiday season we recently hosted a Black Friday sales event where we proactively discounted our whole selection across the website to offer everyone a chance to shop with us and buy gifts for their loved ones that will be treasured for years. As all our items were discounted we made the decision to remove the text box to add further discounts to prevent any undue confusion about why someones code may not work on a discounted item.

It was not our intention to "entice" anyone, and I'm very sorry if that was the impression given. I understand this was not set out in our terms and conditions as this is not a day to day practice, just one we chose in order to make our Black Friday sale the best it could be for our customers.

I'm sorry you were not able to receive your order in the end. On top of Christmas being quite an expensive time of year it is also a very busy one. We have prepared as much as possible for the inevitable rush that comes with the festive season, however at times items can sell out very quickly due to popularity and demand, which is not something we can predict with 100% accuracy. In the event this does happen we are more than happy to try and work to a compromise by finding an alternative item that is suitable, which regrettably we were not able to on this occasion.

As for the confirmation you received, this is an automatic process of ours. Whenever an order is printed out, our system automatically sends a dispatch notification to the email address on the order letting the customer know their order is on the way, however when this email is sent this is often when the order is in fact several hours from being dispatched. We do also explain this happily when asked, so I hope at the least we were able to help clarify your issue for future reference.

I'm sorry you did not have a good experience shopping with us on this occasion, if there is anything we can do in future to help you when shopping with us please do not hesitate to get in touch.
